black & white

i love beautiful black and white photography...always have ..always will so it will probably become a regular post for me...theres something really powerful about a black and white image that just stays in your memory and moves you and inspires you in many ways...well for me anyway ;)x heres some from here and there and everywhere that i love x

i just read this amazing little book called 'true love-a practice for awakening the heart' and i really recommend it.. written by Thich Nhat Hanh,a Vietnamese zen Buddhist monk who is also an internationally known author,poet and peace activist and was nominated by martin Luther king jr. for the Nobel peace prize...this book was given to my boyfriend by one of my bestest friends in the world...little did she know it was a gift for two ;) xx its a quick read but invaluable for your relationships with others and very importantly with yourself xxxx

hey homie

so...I'm not quite at the point where i am setting up my own home yet..but from being on the move for so long..i dream of the day when i have my own place to call home..and set up and decorate with lots of cool bits and pieces!!!i would love to be able to just collect eclectic bits of furniture and beautiful fabrics and vintage lampshades for when the day finally comes!!!!ahhhhhh...one day ?!!!

i was checking out urban outfitters.com the American version...as an Aussie..stores like this are pretty cool for us...it has everythinnnggg!!!I'm seriously amazed at the variety of cool stuff they have at reasonable prices...i first discovered urban outfitters a few years ago on a trip to l.a and found myself in t-shirt and hat heaven..especially cuz it was all so cheap and no one back home will have the same stuff as you...and anyway...i always check back in cuz i love their stuff...and i just realised how cool and cute and sometimes hilariously kitch their home wears range is....i haven't posted some of the funniest items like an ice cream cone lampshade and pimp and ho mugs...but here are a few of the things that i like for now and thought to myself..if i had my own place...this would be on my list ;)

I LOVE TSHIRTS!..you can never have too many..and when you find the right one..i mean THE RIGHT ONE..u can wear it over and over again...and its got that special cut,fabric,print,logo..that just says 'you' all over it and ..yeah well..i could go on for hours on this topic!..but heres some of my faves floating around various online stores right now that ive disvovered on my endless search for the perfect T..x

ride the whitehorse

so i just discovered an l.a based label called whitehorse couture..seems im the last to know?all the 'celebs' are getting into it..but thats not what draws me to this brand..its the ultra cute hippy feel t -shirts in loose but flattering cuts.with simple but amazing designs and logos..CUTE!!!!!here is a sneak peak of past and present collections...i love thier campaigns too.....;)

buenos aires=love

Over the past two years i have been lucky enough to spend around 8 months in Buenos Aires,Argentina.
Apart from the amazing friends i have made there,the incredible experiences and adventures..the beautiful memories with my true love ...they have some of the coolest fashion in the world..I'm not talking about over priced avant guard ,catwalk stuff...just wearable cool clothes for guys and girls..
